School of Physical Therapy (SPT):
The School of Physical Therapy was established in 2012, offering the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. The SPT began its first intake of 17 students in 2012. Over the years, it has developed into a modern institution with state-of-the-art laboratories for teaching and research. The current faculty includes 10 full-time teachers, 20 administrative staff, and about 10 visiting professors. The school’s facilities cover practical training in all major areas of physical therapy, including:
- Kinesiology
- Electrotherapy
- Physiology and Pharmacology
- Anatomy and Pathology
- Hospital Rotation and Clinical Practice
The SPT also has a well-equipped library with over 2,500 books, internet access, and an e-library. Students benefit from PowerPoint lectures, small group discussions, and practical assessments, ensuring they are well-prepared for clinical practice.
School of Medical Sciences (SMS)
- Established in 2016, the School of Medical Sciences at JIPS offers programs such as BS Nutrition, BS Medical Lab Technology, and Bachelor of Eastern Medicine and Surgery. The school began its first intake in 2016 and has since grown into a comprehensive institution with modern laboratories and research facilities. The faculty consists of 10 full-time teachers, 20 administrative staff, and 10 visiting professors. The SMS offers practical training in various medical science disciplines, supported by a library with over 2,500 books, internet access, and an e-library.
